No Tony Hawk in 2008

It looks like the Tony Hawk video game is taking a break in 2008, according to word from Activision's conference call yesterday. The company revealed that the popular skating franchise bearing the world's most recognizable skater will take a hiatus. No word on when to expect another Tony Hawk title, but given the competition from EA's skate, maybe it is time for the Hawk franchise to take a breather and get a reboot of some sort.
