BioWare may not reveal everything about its upcoming PC only (read: for now) role-playing game,
Dragon Age, but according to a message on the game's official site
something will be revealed on Wednesday, July 9. Dragon age is BioWare brand new intellectual property created from scratch to give the company a break from all its previously licensed role-playing game content.
While games like
Baldur's Gate,
Neverwinter Nights and
Knights of the Old Republic put the company on the map, BioWare has proven that it is quite capable of creating its own unique and original IPs (for example, Mass Effect and Jade Empire).
Dragon Age should continue that tradition, utilizing all that the company has learned from the previously mentioned franchises, along with some new innovations that make this RPG worth the ticket price.
Whatever you do know about the game, hopefully you'll learn a little more with whatever the company reveals on July 9th.
Dragon Age will be at E3 next week in Los Angeles and it's definitely one of the games on my to-do list while I'm there, so expect even more information in July!
