Free Rides in NYC to Promote Mario Kart Wii

With Mario Kart Wii launching very soon, Nintendo figures it is a good time to roll out a special promotion in New York City to push the brand - and what better way to do that then to offer free cab rides to residents of the Big Apple?

The free cab rides will be available from 8 a.m. -10 a.m. and 12 p.m.-2 p.m. in Midtown. People dressed like Mario will hail cabs for commuters at the Midtown Sheraton at 817 7th Avenue between 52nd and 53rd Streets. This is a limited time deal, so head on over to the Sheraton if you want a free ride.

Mario Kart Wii launches on Sunday, April 27.
