While we await David O. Russell's expansion of the Uncharted universe no one asked for, Naughty Dog recently announced a sequel to be released in 2011, tentatively titled Uncharted 3: Drake's Deceit.  The game will feature Nathan Drake and partner Sully on a hunt for a lost city, featuring locales in the Arabian Peninsula and Rub' al Khali Desert. Details on the game remain scant for now, though Naughty Dog does promise more multiplayer offerings and the ability to fight multiple enemies at once.

Requiescat In Pace, Thoughts On AC: Brotherhood's Multiplayer

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the first game in the series to support online multiplayer matches using the in-game engine, and it does it well. Spin-offs of the series have dabbled in online play, like Facebook's point-and-click  Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy and Twitter's AC game, which allow you to duel other members of the social networks based on your stats, or the iPhone's Assassin's Creed II Multiplayer (which I was never able to connect to).

Too Many Games

biggestgamecollection.jpg

I remember a time when good game releases used to be spaced apart, when I was only interested in a couple of games that were coming out and was able to choose between them.

As I grew older and game development became easier and more popular, I still only bought a few games a year. This was in the days of renting games from Blockbuster for a week, when you could quickly decide whether I hated a game, loved it enough to buy it, or got it out of my system with the rental.
